Surprise visit from a couple of Teletubbies

Most of you probably don't know who the Teletubbies are - it's a show that shows really simple things for little little babies. The twins love it, I think it's their favourite show. Right now it's also my favourite show because it lets me get a couple of things done in the 10 minutes that they are occupied :)
Anyways, Ania, Jacek's sister, got dressed up as one of the Teletubbies, then talked Jacek into getting into the second suite, and there you have it. Tula was all over the idea, just loved it. Junior wasn't so convinced that this big Teletubby wouldn't do him some harm, but he warmed up toward the end.

The birthday bash

Well the birthday came and went. Can you
believe it!!?? One year old twins!!! I tried putting the pics in order, but my comp kept crashing, so here they are just plopped in randomly. We had a surprise visit from a couple of Teletubbies. Tula was overjoyed, Junior pretty apprehensive about meeting their favourite TV personalities in real life. Cake time was also pretty fun. Each one of the twins got their own - I thought they would go all out and just dive in, but they were really careful, trying it with the fork or at the most one little finger. No face mashed into the cake ...

Tula walking

On march 11th Tula walked for the first time!! Not just a little one step deal, but the length of the room. She was soooo excited - you can see how happy she is in this video. This is late afternoon after she had been practicing for a few hours, so she's pretty tired, but still trying. I don't know who was more excited, her, Babcia or us...
