A typical day at our summer cottage.

A chilly morning.

The days quickly warm up so it's quickly fun in the sun. Boys tire quickly, girls love it!

Play time before bed time!

We were all cheering the American and the Polish teams during The Olympic games. Yeah - I know kids aren't supposed to watch TV until they are at least 2 years old, but it's THE OLYMPICS! For those of you who don't know, Poland got 10 medals this year - maybe not so great compared to the States, but not so bad either.

Father and son.

Kids finally got the TV to themselves.

Junior thinking

Going for a walk with the dog in our new stroller with big tires. The area around our house is foresty with lots of sand, so we had to get another strolly for these tougher grounds!

learnign to drive again

We spent last Sunday learning to drive again. Our bank gave us a present in the form of a two hour lesson with a race car driver using the guy's race car. We practiced on old airport landing strip. Very fun! And very fast! Dad also got to take part. We all got some helpful hints about driving safely on the streets in dangerous conditions with the help of some racing manuvers. It turns out we all have some very bad habits that could cause some trouble in a sticky situation. Jacek was the only person that didn't let the excitement get the best of him and so he took a couple of pics while Dad and I just drove! And of course Tula and Junior came along for the ride!

time at the dzialka

.. continued..

We spent a few days at the summer cottage with Dziadzius (Grandpa) and the in laws. Everyone had a good time and had plenty of yummy food (my mother in law is a great cook! and she takes care of the twins while she's at it!)

Here the twins new stroller for the dzialka - the roads are really sandy, so my father in law got this used stroller for a great bargain. Now Babcia (Grandma) has a much easier time showing of the babies to all the neighbors and everyone is happy.

A funny tomato from the local market:

new pics and videos

Hi all,

We're back in Warsaw for a couple of days to see Tata off. He's just left about an hour ago and we are all very sad :(

We had a great time and I think Dziadius had lots of fun with the twins as you will see in the pics (see flickr).

New things the kids are doing:
- they both found their hands and are chomping away

- Tula found her feet a couple of days ago and was mighty excited

- Tula has also started to giggle out laud just like Junior and she has started to roll over onto her back and back

- Junior is working on belly time and finally starting to enjoy it a bit - see picture
- both Junior and Tula started reaching for me when I go to pick them up -- joy!!!

- neither one has anymore tummy problems (not so in my case :)

- just like a typical guy, Junior won't let go of the booby - the nights are getting tougher as Junior wants the booby all to himself

More to come in a moment if the kids stay asleep :)
